Competitive fabrics are usually waterproofed by adding a membrane laminated to the material. This waterproofing method prevents the material from “breathing”, except through the openings made in the garment, namely through the zipper or other openings.
Our new Zaltex® fabric is the result of a major technological breakthrough in waterproofing. Its microscopic holes let the air in while leaving the water out.
Zaltex® lets the air through, allowing your body to warm the surrounding air in order to keep you comfortable in the spring and in the fall without perspiring.
